..........I don’t know whether Obama and Michelle are disciplining the girl at all or even whether she did any of these things.

And, I guarantee, no one on FR despises Obama and his wife and democrats and the press more than I do.

That said, I wish everyone in the press, and forum commenters on all sites would leave candidates kids out of the fray. Since Obama is a lame duck and not running for office it’s difficult for me to see why his kids are anybody’s business.

I agree; I do think Michelle is a good mother, as far as I can tell. The girls always seemed polite and respectful; perhaps sometimes bored at long events, but that's normal.

It must be hard to be a teenage child of a president. Nothing goes unnoticed. Especially in the era of cell phone cameras.
