And NV, IA, NH, and ME2.

If he keeps Romney’s states, he can tie with FL, OH, NV, IA, and NH (then the Republican House will presumably give it to him) or he could win it out right with the addtion of the extra electoral vote in Maine’s 2nd congressional distict. That way he wouldn’t even need PA, VA, or CO (or MI or WI either). Also if he wins VA or CO but not PA, he will still need one or two of the other small swing states (NV, IA, or NH), so these states are just as critical as the big ones.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if it was a 269-260 tie?

Then an unfaithful delegate can vote for Mitt Romney and the House could give it to Romney.

Wouldn’t that be something?

Or I wouldn’t put it past Hillary to get a few Republican electors to vote for her or some Republican House members to vote for her.

It would be a wild time full of intrigue. I wouldn’t assume the House votes for Trump if there’s a tie.
