Opioid abuse is just the latest ‘boogie-man’ created by the government to control the aging masses that live their lives in constant pain.
A rapidly growing elderly population needs relief from pain in order to function, even at the lowest level of physical activity throughout the day.
The “War on Drugs” is total bull-crap and a waste of Billions of taxpayer dollars.
If they were serious about keeping heroin out of our country we would not have made a deal with the Taliban to not firebomb their poppy fields. We would build a wall to keep Mexican black tar heroin, liquid meth, etc. from entering the United States. We would stop arming the drug cartels.

The US is 5% of the worlds population and consumes 80% of the prescription narcotics. Way too many people think they should never ever have even a little pain. I’ve had parents lean on me to prescribe narcotics to a 12 year old with a sprained ankle.
