My recently departed aunt (age 92 at passing),a devout Catholic,was a die hard Rat supporter.When I tried to tell her about all the Rat policies and positions that are completely contrary to Christian (and Catholic) teaching she didn't care a bit.When asked why she insisted on supporting them she said "because they give me my Social Security".
In just about any age group,with a few notable exceptions of course,if you receive any kind of government check you're likely to vote Rat.

I don't recall Donald Trump saying ANYTHING about social security.
Oh, the libs continue to use it every election because it works, but no republican has ever "taken away yer social security check".

In many cases the local parish priests are no help either. Many don’t even enforce the rule that prevents pro-abortion politicians from speaking.
