I’ve been getting my trump emails just fine but your comparison is absurd. The function of Gmail is to get mail from people. If they are withholding that service from some and not others that is discrimination.
“One person’s SPAM is another person’s treasure”...personal preference...just add the “Trump” address to the Gmail contacts. SPAM is a moving target, lot’s of semi-legit stuff gets filtered as SPAM, just gotta monitor your SPAM folder once in awhile.

No, it is not. The function of Gmail is to maximize Google shareholder’s wealth in terms of stock price. PERIOD. Anything more is communist encroachment! Good intentions don’t matter. If you don’t like Gmail or Google’s way of doing business. Abandon them. There are perfectly viable other private alternatives. Use them. Ditch Google crapware.
