Unfortunately, the Zika Virus studies cost money
At the outset, O'Bungler wanted a fresh influx of money for Zika without touching other funds already ascribed to Ebola.
Therefore it became a political and financial football.
The CDC and NHS didn't want to use dedicated funds already set aside for Ebola, even though they hadn't yet been spent.
Congress was unwilling to authorize new funds
O'Bungler just sems to want to run up the national debt
So, O'Bungler and Congress just keep playing political football, even into today. And yes, I am sure that much is being siphoned off by cronies and big pharma.
Fortunately, studies of Zika are continuing forward and much is learned each day.
