Come Monday - Jimmy Buffet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnKKlf_FGwg

Lyrics...

Headin’ up to San Francisco
For the Labor Day weekend show,
I’ve got my hush-puppies on,
I guess I never was meant for
Glitter rock and roll.
And honey I didn’t know
That I’d be missin’ you so.

Come Monday It’ll be all right,
Come Monday I’ll be holding you tight.
I spent four lonely days in a brown L.A. haze
And I just want you back by my side.

Yes it’s been quite a summer,
Rent-a-cars and west bound trains.
And now you’re off on vacation,
Somethin’ you tried to explain.
And darlin’ I love you so that’s
The reason I just let you go.

Come Monday It’ll be all right,
Come Monday I’ll be holding you tight.
I spent four lonely days in a brown L.A. haze
And I just want you back by my side.

I can’t help it honey,
You’re that much a part of me now.
Remember the night in Montana when
We said there’d be no room for doubt.

I hope you’re enjoyin’ the scenery,
I know that it’s pretty up there.
We can go hikin on Tuesday,
With you I’d walk anywhere.
California has worn me quite thin,
I just can’t wait to see you again.

Come Monday It’ll be all right,

Thick as a Brick. Okay. Now you have got me started. I have a STANDING argument with a co worker that Jethro Tull SHOULD be in the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. I mean, Really?? Thick as a Brick. Aqualung. Too Old to Rock ‘n Roll, Too Young to Die, Songs From the Wood, Living in the Past. Talk about your miscarriages.

Cuzzin Jimmy just last week shared a triple billing with Jon Bon Jovi and Sir Paul at a fundraiser for Hillary @ $25,000 per plate.

Don't know who the two stiffs in the back are supposed to be but the accompanying story says J.B.J. was There.

Ya think?

All that means is that they would is that they would just as soon grind us into dust.

I cut my teeth on Jimmy Buffet's A1A almost 40 years ago. I wouldn't waste my spit on him now, him and his beloved Hoggary Clinton.

So then you don’t listen to any music or watch any TV or films with lefty performers? I understand what you’re saying, but that would rule out a lot of great entertainment. But I have my limitations. For example, an outright POS traitor like Sean Penn who travels abroad to visit enemy dictators.

Anyone who grew up in the 60s and 70s have to have heard it.

_____________________

In the year 2525, if man is still alive
If woman can survive, they may find

In the year 3535
Ain’t gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lie
Everything you think, do and say
Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545
You ain’t gonna need your teeth, won’t need your eyes
You won’t find a thing to chew
Nobody’s gonna look at you

In the year 5555
Your arms hangin’ limp at your sides
Your legs got nothin’ to do
Some machine’s doin’ that for you

In the year 6565
You won’t need no husband, won’t need no wife
You’ll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long glass tube

In the year 7510
If God’s a coming, He oughta make it by then
Maybe He’ll look around Himself and say
Guess it’s time for the judgment day

In the year 8510
God is gonna shake His mighty head
He’ll either say I’m pleased where man has been
Or tear it down, and start again

In the year 9595
I’m kinda wonderin’ if man is gonna be alive
He’s taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain’t put back nothing

Now it’s been ten thousand years
Man has cried a billion tears
For what, he never knew, now man’s reign is through
But through eternal night, the twinkling of starlight
So very far away, maybe it’s only yesterday

Songwriters
Evans, Richard Lee

It does rule out most “entertainment”.

I don’t watch sports, I don’t listen to contemporary music, and I read the books that I think/hope will tell me something worth knowing.

I’m not trying to rebuke you or pose as somehow superior.

Let’s just say that Hillary wins, with the help of Jimmy Buffet and virtually all the rest of the ‘entertainment’ industry, the mainstream media and ‘educational’ institutions.

Can you imagine what our lives will be like in four years? Eight? Twenty?

When Obama was elected did you expect faggotry in every corner of work and personal life? Male pansies using the restrooms and showers of young women?

Open borders? Health care in collapse? The IRS and other federal institutions used as political and financial weapons against anyone who disagrees?

The abandonment (and worse) of Israel? The nations of Middle East burning in the fires of hell?

Listen, enjoy your favorite ‘entertainers’ while you can. If Hillary and her famous supporters win the next election or two, she and her people will be telling you not only what your ‘entertainment’ is to be, but what you are to think and say about it.

That at least is what I foresee.

Then you’ll love this massacre of Parrot Heads. Jason Lee stars as Kevin Bacon. Some of the actors you might know from “Drunk History.”
