My daughter asked an interesting question tonight. She asked, "What do you think President Trump's First Act In Office will be?"

Everything will depend on down-ballot results.

A President Trump will be worthless without Congress.

Hopefully, 60+ votes in the Senate. Then we can start swinging the wrecking ball into Progressivism.

I’ve heard him say enforce the immigration laws - immediate deportation of all the criminal illegals here.

Personally I would direct that the ones not ‘cooperating’ be offered new position somewhere in Kansas at a ‘tent city’. If they refuse to accept the new positions and their old positions have been eliminated then they are out of a job and no longer employed.

I’m not saying they are going to jail, I’m saying that their new ‘jobs’ are at a location where there is no telephone or internet services. If they want to sit on the ground and talk to each other while still collecting a paycheck then that is their choice. Otherwise they can quit and stay in their comfortable homes in the Greater DC area.

It would be expensive to keep them on the payroll but I think it would be a LOT less expensive that them staying at their current jobs and causing bureaucratic mischief as they are doing now. Especially those EPA types.

My main concern is the caliber of voter fraud that will happen, on November 8.

He can easily campaign to have them removed as party leaders.
Same thing as giving a executive a demotion.
If they don’t like it, there is nothing they can do about it.
They are always free to leave.

He will have a series of Executive Orders ready to sign after the Inaugural Speech. First - rescind immediately ALL standing EOs regarding immigration and immediately halting all immigration of Syrian refugees. Second, place a 180 day freeze on all federal regulations issued in the prior twelve months in order to allow for an orderly review and determination on whether to rescind, amend or permit the new rules to go into effect.

The Obama Administration is flooding the Federal Register daily with new and ever expanding regulations on every aspect of the federal government. He is forcing the leviathan to metastasize at an alarming rate-but under the radar. Freezing all new Obama regulations to allow for analysis is the first dose of chemo to cure the cancer.

President Trump is going to escort Obama and Michelle out of the Capital after the Inauguration and all of America is going to be shedding tears of happiness. I can not wait to see Trump wave to them as they pull away LOL

Not possible. Only the House and Senate can do that.

One thing about Trump that will greatly help him in taming the federal leviathon, is that he has decades of experience at the top of a large organization. He’s already got finely honed instincts where it comes to rooting out trouble makers and misfits down the chain of command.

I hope to God that you are right. That is exactly what we need.

In fact, I’d be willing to bet that he’s done it for so long, that it’s just standard operating procedure for him. A successful exec like Trump demands compliance and performance from his immediate juniors, and insists that they ruthlessly root out the non-compliant dead weights directly below them, and so on.

I recall reading an incident in which Donald Trump showed up on a construction site and shouted out "Who's in Charge here?" After he had gotten everyone's attention, one man shouted back, "I am." Trump then turned to all the other workers and said "Everyone listen to that man." and walked off. :)

He’s an expert at that sort of thing.

Let us hope so.

It is a shame that we have to go through such nonsensical legal artifices just to get rid of bad employees in the Federal Government. Chances are, this wouldn't even work because they would immediately go to the courts and sue.

Of course if Trump chose to tell the courts to "go f*** yourselves" then he could make it work despite whatever the courts tried to do.

It would be expensive to keep them on the payroll but I think it would be a LOT less expensive that them staying at their current jobs and causing bureaucratic mischief as they are doing now. Especially those EPA types.

Agreed. The nation would be better off if a lot of them were just paid to stare at walls instead of meddling with the rest of the nation.

Reprint all the federal pink slips with the words “you are fired” written in large letters across the front, and print thousands of them for use over the next week.

After printing 40 billion in money per month for the last 7 years, a few million pink slips should be a piece of cake!
