A surge of unaccompanied children coming across the southern border could be swelling the ranks of one of America’s most dangerous gangs, either as fresh recruits or hardened sleepers, according to federal authorities.
Some 227,149 unaccompanied children have been apprehended at the border over the last six years, according to the U.S. Border Patrol. They remain in federal custody until a sponsor can be located, at which time they are often sent to communities where they are ripe for recruitment by Latin gangs such as the infamous MS-13.

Meanwhile, the government (our taxes) pays these women childcare/welfare/food stamps, etc, to raise these “children”, so, other than cashing those checks, where is the parent(s) responsibility in all this?
Parents are supposed to be responsible for their kids. Is allowing them to go “feral”, and join street gangs being responsible?
Start charging the parents with “child abandonment”. Take away the money for childcare, if, they’re not going to care for them and control them.
Hitting their wallet is a highly effective technique to get their attention. Being responsible for their behavior is a concept as old as parenthood.
If you’re going to allow kids to do this, don’t call yourself a “single parent”, you’re not a “parent” at all, you’re an “enabler”, a partner in crime, and accomplice, and being paid for a job you’re not doing.
Our government is assisting MS-13 in this country.
