According to one poll thread yesterday, Trump is up by 28% over Clinton — in Arkansas.
That has got to chap her.
Far more likely the former than the latter. There are too many states Trump will not be able to flip (CA, IL, WA, OR, most of the northeast, ...).
I just want Trump to get at least 300 EVs. The margin of victory would be more than one battleground state.
I think once people make the decision to go with Trump, it's much easier for him to keep them in November, than it is for him to still try to win them over. That's why people keep pointing to the 50% mark as a key milestone.
I've heard this several times but really how many felons are there in Virginia and how many are actually going to vote? I'm not convinced that this will be a factor at all.
Because the polls are rolling averages, and the real clear goes back to polls that were taken as much as 10 days ago, you don’t get much satisfaction from a trend until long after the trend is obvious.
Trump had better be doing his work on the debates. Because Hillary is toast now. But they will try very hard to trap him in a debate. The first debate is the big one. Everyone watches the first one. And nobody watches the last one. Trump needs to understand that these debates are far different from those earlier debates.

I lived in NM during Johnson's tenure as governor, and he did a good job. When he left office, the state had $$ in the bank. Bill Richardson came along and pissed it all away (and then some) on his choo-choo project, among other things. Johnson was hated by the Dems in the capital because he vetoed all their stupid spending bills, but he was generally popular.
I know a guy who lived in the Minnesota town where Jesse Ventura was Mayor. Says he likewise did an excellent job and kept spending in line.

Unfortunately this is not the same country we lived in in 1980. Too many states are now deep-blue lost causes. California chief among them.

Does that include the major metro areas? Trump being from NY is a plus but I have a
hard time seeing him win the state. If he does it will be a crushing of Hillary for sure.
As an aside, apparently the Clinton campaign method of triple matching donations is to charge the credit card four times.

In an off year local election I averaged 10-20 per weekday and 30-50 on Saturday voting early at the vote mobile. The vote mobile floated from shopping strip parking lot to parking lot. I planned my door knocking around the location of the vote-mobile. All was in a heavily Hispanic area of heavily Hispanic and Black city. My 2 Tea Party Candidates led in a multi-candidate race.
But, but, but... Larry Sabato said Hillary already has this thing wrapped up!
