In her dreams is the only place this took place. She wants readers to get the idea that she is brainy but desirable. Sure.......
I, too, have that impression. If it's all true, then we have: a divorced mother of two children, probably in her late 20s, who has, over the last two years, been involved with a number of older men she found on the Internet. At least several of these men have become sufficiently involved in her life to fix her computer and stuff like that.
Some of the men, like the "lead" male, are single or divorced parents themselves. It can be reasonably assumed that she's hooked up with some or all of them. She is repeatedly exposing herself to disease, unmarried pregnancy, and relationship abuse. She is exposing her children to abuse, as well as the experience of family chaos. She and the men are giving her/his children an example of narcissistic self-seeking, rather than stable maturity.
In summary, the nicest thing we could believe about this author is that she's making it all up.
