Today the Court of the Judiciary (COJ) issued a decision on the charges against Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore. The Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC) requested that he be removed from the bench. Under the COJ rules, removal requires a unanimous 9-0 vote by the members of the COJ, which is made up of judges, a lawyer and laypeople. Absent a 9-0 unanimous vote, the COJ cannot remove a judge from the bench. But today, in an unbelievable violation of the law, the COJ suspended without pay Chief Justice Moore for the remainder of his term, which runs through January 2019. When his term expires, he will be ineligible to run for election as judge again because of his age. So the suspension until the end of his term is a de facto removal from the bench.
To suspend Chief Justice Moore for the rest of his term is the same as removal. The COJ lacked the unanimous votes to remove the Chief, so the majority instead chose to ignore the law and the rules, said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.

there may be a lawsuit in his future... er... nevermind.
It appears flippin’ the bird to the law is a current trend. Just another thing we can attribute to the Clinton trendsetters William Jefferson, and Hillary Rotten Clinton.
Find out which judges voted for this and vote them out.
The gaystapo strikes again.
Read it. It was a unanimous decision.
Faggies rule. All >2% of them. Tyranny of one of several minorities/sacred cows.
Geez!
Faggies are less than two percent of the general population, to make it clear.
It was unanimous - Judge Moore is a Christian who stuck up for his beliefs and most of civilized people. Loss of Livelihood is the repercussion for all of us who dare to question the NWO.
END GAME: There shall be no laws written about what marriage is. This is all about decriminalizing bigamy, polygamy, incest, pedophilia, “marrying your unicorn” - what State Legislature is going to take up this subject to be in compliance with the Despicable SCOTUS? As soon as they try to limit who can get married, and thereby who cannot, the lawsuits begin anew.
Which Alabama law did Justice Moore violate?
Just wondering.
Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore testified in the Alabama Supreme Court today regarding the charges filed against him by the Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC), which were initiated by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
I honestly don’t know a lot about this guy, but I do think that he will be harassed until he’s dead.
Splc should be designated as a terrorist organization/ hate group. They should be investigated under RICO, and that smarmy little weasel morris dees should be rotting in jail.
S’OK. The good people of Alabama will just reelect him again. Frustrating, isn’t it libs?
Unfortunately, Alabama law prohibits Justice Moore from running for reelection due to his age. He’s suspended until 2019 and he’ll be 70 in February. 70 is the mandatory retirement age.
