WikiLeaks will publish US election leaks every week in the run up to November's poll according to the website's founder Julian Assange….

Assange told the press conference that he will be releasing documents relating to the US election every week over the next ten weeks...
However, he stressed he was not going to 'destroy' Hillary Clinton's campaign and claimed he had been misquoted.

Assange will probably get blamed for this but neither he nor Wikileaks were ever, ever, ever quoted saying that there would be a big realease today. Despite 99% of Freepers believing he did it is simply not true. He didn't.
What was reported (as I understand it) was some mutual friend of Assange and Roger Stone telling Roger Stone that Assange had told him that there would be a big announcement and a Hillary Killer document release today or Wednesday.That supposed or imagined exchange was reported by NBC and was instantly accepted as TRUTH.
It was a phony story right from the get-go. A few of us here recognized that. Most didn't.
So don't blame Assange. Look in the mirror.
Speaking of balcony there would have been no way for him to put on his dog and pony show that he put on today from a balcony. It appears the whole thing had a do over, a thrown together last minute mess. They had several “speakers” and slide shows and question answer segments. Rather amateurish presentation. Some of the staff sat around a small card table introduced and mentioned the staff and told a history of the organization while sipping on what appeared Perrier water. Julian came on a giant screen dressed in a black shirt and said ummm a thousand times repeating what the chick at the table just said. He is a horrible speaker btw. I read the comments of the viewers and 98% were cynical and disappointed. I think there were over 24000 viewers at one time. I shoulda stayed in bed.
I go with Stone was played...like pretty much everyone else was.
They got to him.
His “goods” have been good up to now.......sometimes over-rated, but good......
The Clinton Crime Machine is alive, well, and world-wide........

Or maybe we were played by Roger Stone. If there is any blame to go around it needs to be aimed at Roger Stone. It is he and not Assnage or Wikileaks who is the original source for this story.
Neither Assange or Wikeleaks promised us anything. And they delivered nothing as expected. At least by me.
So thanks. Finally after 13 posts that foolishly blame Assange we get some sanity.
This total bust is just one more in a long line of people who never deliver the goods on the Clintons, in spite of deliberately raised hopes and expectations.
This non-event has made me reflective this morning.
I was reflecting on the innumerable times we have been punked concerning the Arkansas grifters, ever since they splashed onto the national scene 25 years ago in 1991, in the run-up to the 1992 Presidential primary season.
Over and over again they offended our sensibilities and our morality, both as individuals and as a nation. The offensive stories of their corruption, immorality and perfidy could scarcely be believed.
Bush,Perot,Gingrich,Starr,Lott,Frist,Limbaugh,Coulter,Issa,Gowdy,Comey,McConnell,Boehner,Ryan,Preibus,Steele,Levin,Beck,Cruz,Chaffetz,Savage et al—none were able to overcome them, and some made a very good living off the Clintons and their scandals.
But really, the only people who ever put it all on the line against the Clintons were Linda Tripp, Paula Jones, Juanita Broadderick, Kathleen Willey, Henry Hyde and our own Jim Robinson, the action of the last two resulting in the actual impeachment of President Clinton in December, 1998.
Everyone else talked and nothing happened.
But these six people risked everything to combat the Clintons. Whatever modicum of success in bringing the Clintons to justice over the last quarter century has been at the expense of these six citizens.
And the Clintons still stand.
Their lies and corruption reach everywhere, affecting the morality of our nation, corrupting our children and now, corrupting the rule of law itself in our land. There is nothing they will not sacrifice for their power and wealth.
Anything good must perish so that they can prevail and prosper.
We stand today only five weeks away from a national election which will truly portend the fate of America, its citizens and the rest of the world.
It will either be one way or the other.
Ultimately we cannot put our trust in man. Only God can raise up leadership to combat evil and to bring justice back to America.
In 2015, God rose up the most unlikely messenger we have seen in modern times—a blue collar billionaire with a storied past and a big mouth.
But God has used Donald J. Trump to remind America of our heritage and our greatness, and to give us a vision of a future untainted by the Clintons—for the first time in 25 years.
He has become the 7th citizen to put it all on the line against the Clintons, and he is paying the heavy price of doing so.
Only in God’s strength can he prevail. The prayers of God’s people must get behind His chosen vessel.
This is America’s last chance to fulfill its God-given destiny.
We choose wrongly five weeks from today, then our future will be one of judgment, division and ruin—deservedly so.
Be in prayer today for Mike Pence as he confronts the evil in Tim Kaine in front of a nationwide audience.
More than a political contest, this whole election is a spiritual battle in the unseen realm over the future and soul of America and its people.
May America be found on God’s side on November 8th, and not on the side of the evil of the Clintons.
I told my son that I hoped Assange had something, but I believe Hillary is untouchable and has made a pact with the devil.
People are already voting, put up or shut up.
Oh, they offered him a job on Clinton’s administration, aye!?
If it will result in charges against her, by all mean delay the release until there is no time left to charge her for anything.
Lame duck going to do it? Is her cabinet going to do it?
The Judicial Watch 25 questions Hillary had to answer under oath (by September 29th) also got delayed 2 weeks (she claims she had pneumonia).
