Deputies issued a statewide Amber Alert for a missing 4-year-old Lakeland girl who officials say may have been abducted by a man named West Wild Hogs.
Rebecca Lewis, 4, went missing Saturday morning from her home at the Lazy Dazy Retreat Mobile Home Park on U.S. Highway 98.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office said Lewis' 16-year-old sister woke up and saw her sleeping at 9 a.m. She woke up again 45 minutes later and her little sister wasn't in bed. Her parents started searching and looked around for more than an hour. They then called law enforcement.
Deputies searched their home then went house-by-house looking for the girl. They used police dogs and a helicopter to scan the area but couldn't find any trace of her. . .

In Calif, maybe 95% of these alerts are cuz of an argument between Jose and Claudia, who fires up the Camry and returns to Mexico.
And the WHOLE STATE is bothered because of it.
Same thing in the SE.
What a bizarre story. The ‘suspect’ has no criminal record but is thought to be driving a stolen car. The details should be interesting.
These photos tell me he has the girl, or had her at one time.
Strange that the article doesn’t mention this.
May be the first report, and was rushed to publicize the girl’s absence. More details later.
Father God, please help them find Rebecca safe and unharmed and bring this man, West Wild Hog, into custody without any loss of life to innocent people. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen
Authorities say Hogs is driving a stolen grey 2012 Nissan Versa with an Alabama handicapped plate 4JL26 (above)
The vehicle was reported stolen by Hogs’ mother.
We had a very similar case in Watkins, MN the first weekend in August this year.
A girl, age 5, was missing on a Saturday morning, and the parents noticed their truck was missing too. A ‘friend’ of the father had stayed overnight because the dad and tis friend had been out drinking the night before well after 2 a.m.
An APB and Amber alert was issued. As it happened the dad had a cell phone in his truck and they were able to determine exactly where the truck was heading. Late in the afternoon they arrested the perp and he led them to this tot’s body in a swampy area on north central Minnesota.
This little girl is in mortal danger!
Your first pics seems to show his back, maybe holding her hand. The girl seems to be wearing one of those temporary medical ID bracelets from a clinic or hospital visit.
At first I didn’t think that first one was a photo of her with him. But looking at the clothing the guy is wearing, it probably is.
She looks like she went with this guy willingly. He must be known to her already and maybe to her parents. Is he perhaps related to her? her father?
They do strongly resemble each other.
