Lyn' Ted had not baggage?! Well, let's see... off the top of my memory, he was Canadian citizen just two years ago, lied to his state about that. At the time he said he wouldn't be eligible for the presidency--he was a constitutional scholar like Obama. Well, we see what that got us. He lied about financing his senate campaign, failed to disclose Goldman Sachs and other monies funding his campaign. He even lied about losing his health insurance. He joined the chorus to demand Trump commit to supporting the Republican nominee, then Lyn' Ted not only didn't, but he openly schemed and undermined Trump. He never really endorsed Trump. Lyn' Ted is scum. Lower than scum. He's a traitor to the party, to the country, to the principles he aligned himself to. Everything he's touched in the Senate has ended in spectacular failures. He is universally hated.
And Pence. Trump made good call on Pence, he's a perfect VP candidate, maybe. Not sure if he is wavering or it is media games, but if he does anything loyal to Trump, he joins Lyn' Ted. And a future? Very unlikely. Pence is nothing without Trump. He does not have the charism, the personality, the allure or whatever you want to call it to be president. He'd crash and burn like most candidates do. He and his supporters should count blessing that Trump picked him as VP and be happy with that.
First of all, I said "this" sort of baggage. The sort that the demonRats and their media are making a big fuss about, and the GOP weasels are using as an excuse to run even further away.
Second, if you seriously believe Ted Cruz, one of the rare few in such a position who 'gets' the big picture of what's going on in the world, in terms of terrorism AND Russia, is a "traitor to the country", you simply don't know what the hell you're talking about.
But I'd rather not get too deeply into this conversion now because we need to fight together in order to have a shot at winning this stacked deck election. This is not the time to be bashing Ted Cruz, of all people.
