Baseball’s an American sport, go back to hockey.
But then again y’all are stuck with the Maple Leafs.

To be fair, Toronto’s not the only team with a jerk broadcaster.
I offer Cleveland’s Tom Hamilton as Exhibit A.

As someone of Irish ancestry, I’ve just now decided that I am outraged, yes outraged, that the University of Notre Dame calls its football team the “Fighting Irish.” I’ve seen a number of their games, and some of those players don’t even look Irish. I’m also upset about the “Boston Celtics.” In addition, I think that those of you of Scandinavian descent should express your outrage over the name “Minnesota Vikings.” When will this madness stop?

some of those players dont even look IrishMay be Black Irish.

Yeah, hockey’s our thing. Canadians seem to kick America’s ass in that sport too. :-)

I can hardly understand the Blue jays announcers anyway, they have that weird accent.
The fans in Toronto however, are fantastic, they always fill that stadium to capacity and yell like they are at a hockey game.
I’ll take that over the fans is some places in the States any day.

they sure did a great job last season; seems not one Canadians team made the playoffs, eh?
sounds more to me that your beloved Canadians were more grabbing their ass than kicking anybody elses.

Pretty hard to take an announcer seriously who calls them “strike oats”.
