If Trump loses, it’s a tactical victory but a strategic defeat for the Bush/Romney faction. The conservative base will never vote GOP again and the party’s over. Literally.

Sounds like Reince forced Ryan into that appearance with Trump. I’m not sure he’s directly involved in this. Yet and Mitt Romneycare are more likely, IMO. They’ve got the motive and the underemployed staff to pull it off.
