A moment of silence for our beloved Giants who went down in flames for the season in the fourth game against the Cubbies in the ninth inning. See you next year guys. AND GET SOME RELIEF PITCHING!!
In the meantime, gotta give the Dodgers credit. Not sure why the Giants didnt do the same thing with Bumgarner that LA did with Kershaw to save the game in the ninth inning.
Now the Dodgers meet the Cubbies, statistically the best team in baseball. Are the Cubbies the team of destiny? Can the Dodgers stop them? Is 2016 Clevelands year in pro sports? The drama builds...

I watched the game Dodgers and Washington. I really, really enjoyed it. Pitching was great. I am a Padre fan so Dodgers evil......not this time. Think it would be nice for Vin Scully to be at the World Series his last year.
Yes Cubs over Dodgers.

Gotta go with Angel alumnus Joe Maddon and his magic Cubbies.

I still have Cubs Cleveland in the WS, no idea who will win but Cubs have a better team on paper and Cleveland has one of those KC/Marlins sort of teams you just never know.

I place that loss on Bochy, he should have left Romo in, he would give up a couple of hits and shut ‘em down. I am an anomaly I like the Giants and the Dodgers (mostly due to those great Brooklyn teams of 41-56) but I think the Cubs are looking at destiny, hell, if Bob Dylan wins the Nobel Prize, all bets on anything are off. Just joking - Simple Twist of Fate is a great story, although, since there ain’t no accounting for taste, Jerry Garcia did it better.

Sigh. I guess it’s OK to let the Cubs win one every hundred years or so.

Well, you’re an anomaly the way Vin Scully was, who announced for the Dodgers but loved the Giants.
Bob Dylan’s songs did a lot for me when I was in my 20’s. Somehow they helped me. Both he and I became born-again Christians later.

Very surprised Cleveland made it past Boston. That done, gotta go with the Tribe.

Think it would be nice for Vin Scully to be at the World Series this year. Agreed....this Angels' fan is now hoping for a Dodgers win.

Game 1 didn’t go so well but I’m picking the Blue Jays.
Cubs over the Dodgers.

Looks pretty certain at this point.

My choices, by whether I want a team to win is so far 100%. I see (fell asleep during the game) Cleveland beat Toronto. As a fan of the American League I generally (not always) root for that league in the WS. The dilemma is the Cubbies...... it's their time......BFM is in the stands cheering with the rest of the fan with this great t shirt

Tribe Ace didn't go that well in ALCS game 1, Marco Estrada out performed him (except for the one pitch). The series is still a toss up (for me).
Dodgers look somewhat ‘spent’, and I think the youthful Cubs have the resiliency to overcome them.

I expect Kershaw in game 2, Hill in game 3.
the 7 Kershaw pitches in the 9th were inconsequential. And could actually be a benefit for his next start, not a detriment.
