I have a reedonckyulous amount of vacation time (over 200 hours/year, +7.5 more hours every additional year, plus 12 “statutory” holidays), and if I don’t take the time off I end up in the spanking room, then they pay me out. No roll-over allowed.
I love my job, but get in trouble if I stay too much. Go figure.
Where I work, everybody pretty much takes the last half of December off, because they have so many vacation days left, and it’s “Use It or Lose It.”
