My ex-wife left me for a guy who is 13 years younger than her...and as stupid as a box of hammers. Took six years to get a BA in English from Illinois State. I was gonna feel sorry for myself but given the fact that she’s been arrested TWICE since she moved in with him, I see it as front row seats for the floor show!
When my mother hit menopause she lost her brain and divorced my dad. It almost destroyed him. We, his kids, circled wagons, and supported him. He remarried a great lady (It is amazing how one woman's reject is snatched up really quickly by another.). My mother, well, she is still alone. Please understand, we did not ostracize my mother. But after menopause played itself out, she realized that she threw away her final days.
Menopause also hit my wife hard. But we worked through it- but my wife calls it "her period of insanity."
