A horror, senseless attack that left a New York man dead has been captured on CCTV - and now police hope to find the callous stranger who did it.

The NYPD have released video of the moment 64-year-old Patrick Gorman was punched in the head by another man on June 26, just feet from his Queens home.

According to investigators, Mr Gorman may have been targeted by the unidentified man after accidentally bumping into a woman he was with.

Taught martial arts for years. Don't care whether a person has a gun or a tenth Dan black belt, if you get cold cocked it could be over. Hope they catch this guy and he gets his due in prison or earlier.

The victim was a 64-y.o. man in QUEENS, NY so it is highly unlikely he would have been gripping a lawfully-carried firearm.
