My daughter isn't a Professor, but after driving home from college just to vote in her first election, she drove all the way back, got back at 10:00pm and said she was safe and doing some reading. At 2:45 I texted her, thinking she'd wake up to see happy results on her phone. She immediately texted back and said, “I told you so! I've been saying this for a year!” Surprised she was up, but happy she was so interested in the election.
