Lodestone
Noun, (lohd-stohn)
Roll Call.........FRee at last from the Dem overlords....We Trumped their queen!
I learned that word in high school when we read A Tale of Two Cities.
Hopefully, Trump’s presidential lodestone with attract many of the liberals that actually voted against him.
(Not holding my breath.)
A++ I do believe they helped elect him, so why not?
Nice.
Now that we have defeated the crone
And King Trump has taken the throne
Can we peons
Now lean on
The Constitution which is our mighty loadstone
Yep. Good idea. A++++
Are you following the grubhub story? Where the CEO sent out a letter denouncing Trump and calling for folks to resign? I cannot imagine that was not intimidation. What do you think?
Does it count if a I loathstone the democrats who use their pictures on the cover of the Rolling Stone, Time, Newsweak, USA Today, Vogue, Vanity Fair and every other large magazine to get tens of hundreds of millions of free advertising
Close.
Back in olden times as a student I was taught that a lodestone was that elemental compass that attracted iron and always pointed north. In literature, the guide stone pointed to the true path, lest one loses one’s way.
A fitting word of the day, on this Memorial Day, following this election.
The Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights are the lodestones of our Republic requiring the steel of will and the resolution to use the sword to defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
The democrat party has become a lodestone for every unclean, filthy, perverted, occult, demonic, selfish, refuse of humanity.
Yes, nice summary. A+++
True, but they do fool many to follow them and not look too close. A++
Ok - one of you smart people please tell me that the electoral college can’t change their votes and elect that witch!!!
Good analysis, but today is Veterans Day, not Memorial Day.
Hillary, sick-looking old crone
Lost to the populist lodestone
Though he’s a year older
He’s stronger and bolder
He spoke to the people and rode home
My lodestone this AM is nothing more than getting riley to his first vet appointment and back without a disaster. It took me nearly 1/2 hour to get his doggie seat belt on him this AM. We are leaving in a few minutes. We got him Oct. 15 at 9.5 lbs. He weighed 18.2 lbs the day before yesterday.
But that is nothing compared to my hairdresser’s pair of Rottweiler who are only a few weeks older. They are already tipping the scale at 40 lbs each!
They certainly *could*. But they won’t.
For example, if a president-elect was found in bed with a dead girl or a live boy; if he died; if irrefutable evidence of his unsuitability (like being under investigation for selling access to the Department of State through a family foundation) became apparent to the majority of the public. Then they could vote for someone else.
That’s not the case here. This is just whiners whining. The electors are chosen from the most loyal of the party. It’s a great honor and one would think the culmination of years of service. They’re not going to give the election to the other party. Just not going to happen.
