I doubt the NBA stands are filled with 45% black fans.
Some for sure, but I bet NBA white fans are way younger than white NFL fans and white MLB for for sure and less likely to care. They say that recent pro-b-ball product is pretty good right now, I haven’t watched since the mid 90s. I can’t take all the chest slapping displays and screaming hulk poses after slamming with no defender within 20 feet of them.

Cuban’s decision to support Hillary was more of a business decision, a bad one. But I was pleasantly surprised with his post-election comments. I never saw Cuban as particularly liberal, he’s more down the middle.
TV contract money/selling advertising on regional sports networks is where all these sports make their real money. At least that is how it is for MLB and NFL to my understanding. I assume NBA is the same.

What exactly does it mean when you say that 45% of the NBA fans are black? Blacks make up 13% of the population.
To my understanding it means blacks are way more into the NBA than whites, to such an extent that they are actually 5% more black fans than whites for NBA product despite being a minority in the general population.

IMHO, Hockey is still the best sport to watch (as long as you mute the schmaltzy green-energy ads on the peacock network). Most of its superstars are humble, hard-working, and non-political.
