Maybe I’m too touchy. I thought the whole SNL was awful. Racism charges throughout the skits and news segment. The only thing funny I found about the election result skit was the timeline of them going from happy to despondent.
I was actually the reverse on election night.
You could feel the bitterness all through it.
And this one almost feels like everyone doing it really wants to be doing anything BUT their jobs right then.
Indeed, the conclusion of the above skit was that America is racist. Which is fine, keep thinking that Liberals. Trump won because a huge swath of people have been left behind by the elites. Keep thinking it’s racism and you’ll lose in 2020 too.
I was amazed just how unfunny this was. Is this what passes for humor today?
I agree, none of it was funny, and what's up with that opening song...terrible? Oh, and that news guy Che, I guess he can't tell the difference, really, between a Mexican and a Puerto Rican. Trump would have fired him for messing up his lines - but he'll get rewarded. Just like the media hasn't learned and has doubled down on being unfair to Trump, so will SNL - it's all they know.
My anxiety about the future left me and went into a libber. I didn’t think the skit was all that funny, although watching Chapelle and Rock laugh at the White people was funny in itself.
I only posted ‘You can say THAT again’ because the snippet repeated the same couple of paragraphs twicet.
That's a totally subjective view. I get it that not everyone will react to those skits in the same way.
