At one point, he was driving at 208 mph. He also turned off the headlights and brake lights in an attempt to elude the trooper... Fraire was arrested on multiple complaints, including reckless driving and a felony count of eluding.

How does one turn off the brake lights in a high speed police chase?
The only way I can think of is pulling the fuse or taking out the bulbs...

People mod their cars.
You can put toggle switches into control headlights, interior lights, etc.

He must be one heck of a mechanic to do that while driving!
The only other way I can think of is to use the parking brake for braking. I don’t know how you do that during a high-speed chase without dying, though.

I had a toggle that put Tranny fluid to run though a windshield wiper pump to inject into the carb for a smoke screen

Riding with a buddy and got clocked and pulled over at 150mph just North of Wichita Falls. My buddy went to jail and I walked home.
