What is really bizarre is that I grew up being told how evil the pioneers were because they slaughtered the millions and millions of buffalo (yes, I know; bison)that once roamed the prairie. “ There was one continuous herd from Idaho to Arizona to the Mississippi.” Did these animals not fart and poop? Chances are about 1 in 5 it's from California, and that's mostly people who live in the Southwest. If you live in the upper Midwest, chances are it's from Wisconsin or Minnesota, if the Pacific Northwest, chances are it's from Idaho. If you live in the Northeast, chances are it's from New York or PA.
