Gleason and Bobby Hackett — when I hear them I think of late nights, cigarettes, highballs, and a dame in a glittery gown.

Gleason was a darned good musician. If I remember correctly, he composed “The Honeymooners” theme song, “Sentimental Serenade.”

Why do you keep posting these inane music links, newbie?
This is not a music forum.

Beautiful lyrics. Thanks!

The music links may be inane to some but there are probably a great number of people on FR who appreciate them. Certainly a welcome break from all the anxiety laden articles and comments re Trump’s visitors at Trump Tower and speculation about what position they may occupy.

Not bad for a guy who couldn’t read or write music! Amazing.
