I'm a proximity rooter....who ever is closer to me, gets my cheers.

I will root for Clemson over Ohio just because Clemson is in South Carolina. We beat Clemson last year for the national championship. They were a tough opponent.

Not strange at all. I root for every SEC team to beat any other team, especially those from another conference, as long as they are not playing the

I went to Tennessee and a Vol supporter from the Dewey Warren/Bob Johnson/Steve Kiner/Richmond Flowers days. My relatives played for Alabama back in the 60’s and I root for SEC/Alabama in other games.
