The coach metaphor reminds me of a story about Bill Yeoman who was Univ. of Houston’s football coach many years ago. He was explaining defensive responsibilities to a new player he was pretty sure didn’t quite get it. When he finished, he asked the player if he got it. The kid told him he did and added, “It’s not rocket surgery.”
