Yep. But it’s also indication of SJW convergence within the org doing the signaling.
Once an org is converged, it stops having any real relationship to actual cause and effect in its practices.
So, I click on the link to the story @ WSJ, and it says I must subscribe or login to read the story. However, my status bar displays a flurry of activity through “doubleclick” and a bunch of other sites. So I can’t read the story, but WSJ still makes money on my pathetic attempt anyway. Am I getting that right?

Is Sam’s Club any good? In the past I’ve been a member of BJ’s and Costco’s. My local Walmart is the crappiest store I’ve ever been in.

With transgenderism, playing pretend and all, what if a white male with a chopmydicktomy applied? They’re white, which is a bad mark, but they’re a pretend female, so does a white pretend female get hired before a legit white female?? Nothing can be simple any more.
White is technically all of the colors. It is what you see when an item reflects back all of the colors of the light spectrum instead of splitting them out or one taking precedence over the others.
Its a sign of the secular insanity washing over us.
I can “identify” women (most of the time).
In summer I turn kinda reddish tan (my “Native American” roots).
Does that mean that I qualify? The Progressives say that Identity Matters and I am a “Person of Color”.
Plus I regularly shop at Walmart AND I have a Sam’s Club membership!
Voila`! I’m the ideal candidate for CEO!

They have senior VP positions dedicated to “social justice” and virtue signaling.
Once it gets institutionalized it’s near impossible to eradicate it.
Most of the organization don’t really buy that crap, but they feel they have to do that to survive, or they’ll be hounded and terrorized out of business.
The left knows how to terrorize to get their way. We on the other hand are too nice,and that explains why they’ve taken over most institutions and organizations.
