You Broke It, We Own It (Saturbray)

And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? That thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage: Exodus 13:14

The Marxists are crying the old You Broke it, You Own It chant as they hold a handful of shattered splinters. Is there anything they do which does not come with a 60’s cliché? Time for the Repubs to put the nail in the coffin and say, You Broke it, We Own It.

This election was won on two issues, immigration and ObamaCare so we must own both. There are no easy solutions for either of them, so we may as well take our medicine and be done with it. There are really two issues about insurance and that is availability and cost which is what the Affordable Care Act was supposed to address. Everyone has a terrible plan and has priced everyone out of even that coverage and now nobody can afford to go to the doctor if they can find one.

The goal is for DC to be completely out of the healthcare system and let insurance companies do what they do best which is to pay for hospital care. The hard medicine is to eliminate forcing companies to insure people and ask them to begin a high risk pool the people are going to have to pay for. Right now those people are being paid for by their neighbors who have good health which the gummit calls fair. Why should someone be paying $10-20,000 for he and his wife’s healthcare while a drug addict pays the same or nothing? Why should people be paying $20K before they receive their first dollar of care? Why is that fair and why is that supposedly not shattered glass?

The Marxists broke the system by vilifying the Insurance Company just like they vilify everything. The insurance industry was the brilliance of sharing the risk so nobody was wiped out from a healthcare catastrophe. Everyone pays into that company and when they go into the hospital the insurance company pays the bill. Everyone complained about the cost, but it never had this bloated costs or the gummit mandates which require them to give a Cadillac plan whether they want it or not which force up the costs and deductibles which are hidden costs.

Insurance should be for covering you if you have cancer or heart disease and forget the small stuff. To get there we are going to continue with OBCare 2.0 or take the tough road and say there are no free lunches. America has to understand it will be gone in 18 months if the Congress did nothing. There are going to be no companies to underwrite this boondoggle without doubling premiums again of just walking away and then everyone will be without policies. Covering everyone sounds really good, but in reality is only a pipe dream and not realistic. Why should someone with cancer have the same premium quote as someone perfectly healthy?

The first step is to eliminate all mandates from the gummit and let the insurance industry begin to heal itself. There is no reason kids should be forced to have insurance if they don’t want it. There is no reason parents should be forced to cover their children if they don’t want to. This is just a smokescreen to make the young healthy people to pay for the elderly premiums. There is no reason anyone should be forced to carry insurance if they do not see the need or can self-insure.

The insurance industry needs to set-up a high risk pool for the uninsurable. This will be a high cost catastrophic plan which will be the hardest yet the most important piece of moving out of ZeroCare. America has to understand we are all in that pool now so we have to bite the bullet and take the healthy ones out and move away from their Marxist model.

Once the different levels of risk are costed and pooled then it is up to the insurance companies to become competitive. By having an Amazon type marketing program and comparative shopping these plans will become more and more cost effective as they streamline their costs and programs.

What most people basically need is something which will pay if the worst happens, a lengthy stay in the hospital. Most can work out a payment plan for $5-10K, but could never pay that $100,000 hospital bill which is where insurance steps in. So, most would be happy with an affordable plan with a $5-10K plan that would pay any catastrophic event. If someone wants everything paid and can afford it then that option would also be available.

The biggest issue is all of these plans would have to be underwritten to qualify, but once you are on the plan you cannot be cancelled. This also means there will people who are not covered and would have to go into the high risk pool and pay additional premiums or get into a group plan through their employer. Right now these people are going to be out on their own as ClownCare collapses of its own weight so these are the Americans who are going to have to be the toughest. The ultimate goal is to get them covered early and have coverage their entire lives and work their way back to becoming insurable.

If this type of plan was induced there would no longer be any gummit funding and that portion of the budget would be eliminated and in a few short years would be working for the American people. It will be very hard to get through those first few years with much economic pain and some people who have coverage will not have any or a limited policy, but they too will find coverages as they come available in the marketplace.

The overall cost will be way down for individuals and companies and up for certain high risk individuals. This is actually the way nature works and the fairest way to cover everyone. The question is if anyone in the District of Corruption has the backbone to speak the tough word to American that ObamaCare is a dying of cancer? If Americans are strong enough to accept this message and take the chemo, within five years they will be cancer free and breathing the cool breath of affordable, quality health insurance. This is going to be the WWIII of DC.

Time for a Trumptweet, They Broke it, We Own It. The adults are back in charge.

Pray for President Trump

This election was won on two issues, immigration and ObamaCare
and SCOTUS, let it not be forgotten. The President-elect ran on a promise to pick a replacement for Scalia. Specific names were listed. Mr. Trump should name one of those listed - and (IMHO) the Senate should give that nominee an up-or-down vote, irrespective of the feelings of 48 Democrats. If any of those Trump listed had actually been “out of the mainstream,” Mr. Trump would have been defeated. They weren’t - and he wasn’t.

Name a member of that list, Mr. Trump - and give him/her an up-or-down vote, Senator McConnell.
