The Director of DSHS is a Trump appointment that will have authority to make decisions regarding thousands of rules and regulations under current law.
A simple reaffirmation of the Director’s authority in law, after repeal of the ACA will act, as a temporary safe guard against the most extreme cases you refer to in your reply.
There is no substitute for another TRULY affordable, comprehensive,conservative, healthcare law, that allows for universal competition, freedom to choose your own doctor, an end to the expensive special sweetheart relationships that exist between Pharmaceuticals the current administration, and both houses of Congress.
Any bill introduced by the GOP must simplify the procedures that that now overwhelm doctors, clinics,hospitals, and their suppliers. It must be a GOOD LAW that is the priority,rather than covering Republican tail, if they are criticized by the left. Good law = good partisan reputation!
The point is we MUST NOT be held captive by working under the current law itself! That will reintroduce all special interests back into the process. If the current law is not repealed first, any legislation introduced by Republicans will die by a thousand cuts in Committee.
