Obama made the right move here. The Coast Guard for years has been intercepting almost all boats from Cuba. So now illegal infiltrators from Cuba have started crossing the Mexican border. The idiotic cold war era law said that any Cuban who touched foot on US soil got automatic permanent residency and all kinds of welfare benefits. That’s outrageous and was never a good idea. This change in the law was necessary to stop the accelerating flood of this kind of illegal infiltration.
