Is there a vet here who can explain to me why she was not shelled the minute this picture was taken?
It was a photo-op located in North Vietnam. Everyone knew the bitch was going there, why it was allowed I don't know - probably another Johnson or McNamara screw up.
It was and still illegal for military to target non-military US citizens, CIA notwithstanding. However, once she returned to the US, I've never understood why she was not indicted for treason. I still don't understand how John, "I was in Vietnam", Kerry got to be SOS after his quasi-traitorous talks in Paris.
That's the best I know. I'm sure in in-country Vets would know best.
