Hardly. And don't forget there are worse types of bullying than physical assault.
There's a long history of young children of Republicans being bullied/taunted/ridiculed at school for false news stories about their Dads.
EG: Don Rumsfeld's young kids (circa 1970) were bullied at school for a completely false, defamatory hit job on him from the nasty muckraking columnist Jack Anderson. Though Anderson finally accepted Rumsfeld's invitation to his office (OEO chief under Nixon) to see for himself, and personally admitted he was wrong, he never retracted the Fake News column.
And so, it's the children who suffer for the scurrilous attacks on their fathers. Even if classmates are too young to follow national news, their parents pass on "relevant items" to them, and the target is painted on the back of the unfortunate child who is far too young to have grown the thickened skin that his/her Republican father is protected by.
