[Full title and subtitle: DIRTY DOSSIER DEATH Russian spy linked to Donald Trump’s dirty dossier found DEAD in his car in Moscow: Oleg Erovinkin is suspected of being Brit spy Christopher Steele's key source behind widely discredited allegations against President Trump]

A FORMER KGB spy chief suspected of helping Brit spook Christopher Steele compile the Trump ‘dirty dossier’ has been found dead in mysterious circumstances.

Oleg Erovinkin, described as a key source behind the widely discredited document, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on Boxing Day. Media reports in Russia suggest his death was the result of foul play, reports the Telegraph.

A former general in the intelligence agency the KBG and its successor the FSB, Erovinkin was reportedly a key aide to former deputy prime minister Igor Sechin.

Erovinkin acted as a ‘go-between’ for Russian Presdident Vladimir Putin and Sechin who is now head of the state-owned oil company Rosneft, it has been reported. . .

While no cause of death has been confirmed, some reports have claimed he died as a result of a heart attack. . .

So every death in the huge nation of Russia is ascribed to Vladimir Putin?

“Oleg Erovinkin, described as a key source behind the widely discredited document, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on Boxing Day.”

Just looked up when boxing day is in Russia and it was Dec 26. They’re reporting this as if it just happened.

Yeah, they’re doing what the MSM always does, which is lying by omission. See my last post.

It’s not like the guy lost all that much.

He lived in a third world crap hole where his life expectancy was only 64.

some reports have claimed he died as a result of a heart attack. . .

Can anyone prove it wasn't so? Maybe, maybe not. Frankly, who cares? Sometimes you get the bear...sometimes the bear gets you.

I was trying to figure that out, too. Russia has Christmas later than the West, so I’m wondering if their “Boxing Day” is different, too. Anyone know?

From the Telegraph article linked in #4:

No cause of death has been confirmed and the FSB continues to investigate. Media reports suggested his death was a result of foul play.

It was later claimed he died of a heart attack. Christo Grozev, an expert on Russia-related security threats, believes Erovinkin is the key source to whom Mr Steele refers in his dossier.

Mr Grozev said on a blog: “Insiders have described Erovinkin to me alternately as ‘Sechin’s treasurer’ and ‘the go-between between Putin and Sechin’. One thing that everyone seems to agree – both in public and private sources – is that Erovinkin was Sechin’s closest associate.”

Mr Grozev, of Risk Management Lab, a think tank in Bulgaria, said: “I have no doubt that at the time Erovinkin died, Mr Putin had Mr Steele’s Trump dossier on his desk. He would – arguably – have known whether the alleged... story is based on fact or fiction.

"Whichever is true, he would have had a motive to seek – and find the mole... He would have had to conclude that Erovinkin was at least a person of interest.” Experts expressed scepticism about the theory.

“As a rule, people like Gen Yerovinkin don’t tend to die in airport thriller murders,” said Mark Galeotti, an expert on the Russian security services.

Not Boxing Day.

Think about the 12 Days of Christmas.

In Greek and Eastern Orthodox that would be January 6th.

This article states "Oleg Erovinkin, a former general in the KGB and its modern successor the FSB, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on December 26." That's assuming they're not inferring December 26 from previous articles reporting "Boxing Day"--would like to see a Russian newspaper source, it seems like the English-speaking media is just catching up on this.
