I did not realize that much money was involved. I live in a village about 300 miles NE of Bangkok and there are a lot of Roosters kept for fighting. Just up the road they have Friday Night Fights (never been).

On the other side it seems to be the nature of the bird. My Brit friend had a pet rooster until the cock tangled with another and was killed.
