I've never understood why that is on BBC-America. They would be better off with re-runs of "Monty Python", "Fawlty Towers", or "The Avengers".
Agreed. Moffat is a great writer, but the show has gone downhill since he took it over.
Someone on another thread suggested Martin Freeman might be good. would be an interesting choice except then he couldn’t show up in every program and movie made these days.
cheers

Agree.
When I subscribed to the cable tier, especially for BBC-America, I thought it would be mostly BBC programs. Instead, it had about one or two new series each year. The remainder of the times was reruns of ST:TNG — which I do not watch anyway. I did watch the original series, but it was too pc, so I do not watch the reruns.
I have looked at Acorn streaming, but it has mostly non-BBC British programs, so programs such as Doctor Who are not available. Many of the others I can access through Amazon Prime or Netflix or PBS.
Tom Ellis from “Lucifer”?
#21 & 23 The BBC now includes the original Star Trek!
I am glad Peter Capaldi is leaving. He always looks angry and evil and hung over.
