The first pictures of the female-driven remake called Oceans Eight have just been released.
Having railed for years about sexism, you might think progressive film-buffs are looking forward to the movie which stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway and is due in theatres June 2018.

Can’t wait for “Saving Private Meg Ryan. “
I wonder if Milo will review this film?
Just from the premise, I will probably not pay my hard earned $ at the theater for this flick. And when its on cable the chances are I might prefer to watch the weather report.
I would say yes if the feminist start harping on this movie as they did with Estrobusters; just to troll them.
If Hollyweird was really interested in gender equity, they’d get rid of the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress designations at the Oscars, and just offer Best Actor and Supporting.
OK, Hollyweird: Put up or shut up time.
The Outlaw Josephine Wales?
So Hollywood didn't learn anything from their "Ghostbusters" disaster?
This is working so well.
Let’s make a remake of The Longest Day where all these women drafted into the Army invade France.
Oh, they can’t.
Women can’t be drafted.
They want equal pay, not equal responsibility.

That should have been “The one with Julia Roberts playing a nobody impersonating Julia Roberts was an insult to the intelligence of the audience.”
The pay gaps they whine a out are always regarding white colar jobs
They never mention the guys getting killed in mine shafts or other jobs these twats would refuse to do
The Good, The Bad and Rosie O’Donnell
Young males will go to see movies with male leads, but not female leads. It is what is.

Why are they complaining? 8 women can easily do what it takes 11 men to do. There were 3 useless men in 11. /s
Yep. Starz just started showing the GB reboot, and gave it 3/4 stars out of the box. IMDB has it at 5.4, which equates to 2 stars.
Not a fan of either Melissa McCarthy or Leslie Jones, so there's about two hours of my life that won't be misspent.
