I own several soldier inscribed Civil War bibles including one from a soldier who won the Medal of Honor for his actions at Gettysburg on 2 July 1863 and another from a soldier who was mortally wounded at the “Copse of Trees” during Pickett’s Charge on 3 July 1863.
