At first, I was deceived, and thought it may worthy of a re-post.

Then, I read this - I imagine the group with Jesus in the mood of Godspell. There’s fun, and happiness, and careless joy in the air when they careen into the pallbearers of the dead and hear the coterie of wailing women accompanying the body, and see the mother, the widow.

Thanks for this post! It’s one of two times I recall when Christ performed a miracle without actually a request being made. One was the multiplication of loaves and fishes and this is one. Both display the true humanity of Christ. This is why the Catholic Church fought off the early heresies and led to the affirmation that Christ is both true man and true God.

First 300 years or so, we were all catholic.

Not correct. The first 300 years or so we were all Christian, the Bible says so.

No one was Catholic until the politicians (Constantine) got involved.
