In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

I opprobrium this is appropriate, as opposed to the cold-hearted opposition of the “oppressed” minority oppressors of today’s socialists.

John Ebittidde’s behavior was viewed with much opprobrium. He had performed with his usual jacka** foolishness.
Even though I am a Singer-Songwriter, I stopped watching the the Grammies years ago, due to the opprobrium that was constantly being heaped upon my beliefs and values by the participants.
