& don’t they usually trot out the people from the accounting firm that counts the ballots?? holding the breifcase w/handcuffs or something of similar dramatic fashion?

Yes, I remember them doing that in the past but honestly can't say for sure it's the Oscars. I think so, but not 100% sure. Anyone else remember?

Yes it was been Accounting firm PriceWaterhouse for many years. Back in the 70's \ 80's My Mom's Cousin was one of the two Accountants they use to trot out on stage for a few seconds briefcase in hand.
