I never thought I'd say this, but this almost makes me long for the relative innocence of Christopher Dodd, Ted Kennedy, and the waitress sandwich...

At least they were heterosexual, and with women of legal age.

(Funny how nobody ever mentions ol' Ted and his demigod status within the Dem party when talking about "War on Women" ... and nobody points out even the DEMS were too ashamed to have Ted Kennedy weigh in on the Justice Clarence Thomas hit job.)

In contrast to Dennis Hastert, who evidently thought that he could hold the moral high ground in the Monica Lewinsky scandal in spite of his predilection for buggering young boys. The Clinton/Lewinsky case was sleazy, but at least it involved a woman of legal age, as opposed to Hastert's taste for schoolboys.
