Hate?..intense dislike; extreme aversion or hostility....so actually hate is simply less love.....otherwise if can't use hate what's left?..dislike,disrespect,dishonor.
Hate is not a bad word and certainly quite appropriate at times as descriptive of ones take on certain individuals...
