Indeed. The FC saved the Repubs and, to an extent, Trump from the consequences of a disastrous bill.

I support Trump on 99% of the issues but badmouthing the real conservatives in the legislature is not one of them.

True that. To which I would add, Trump put his himself in Ryan’s hands, which of course led to disaster because of Ryan’s inept and secretive handling of the legislation. And as Newt said, Trump should not have done healthcare out of the gate; it would have been better to do infrastructure and tax reform first. These were low lying fruit and could have laid the groundwork for later efforts on the AHCA. Trump himself bears some responsibility for the mismanagement of his own agenda.

LOL. All the kamikaze caucus did was flap their gums and shoot down the first major item of President Trump’s agenda. They have little support for their bills. Beltway kabuki like always. All talk. No accomplishments.
