Donald does not trust the FC. He met their initial demands and they immediately asked for more. You don’t cross him like that

Donald does not trust the FC.

************

But that’s no reason to start trusting the Democrats.

Trump is very much Gary Cooper in High Noon.

The FC saved the GOP from jumping off a bridge with that silly, ineffective health care bill.

I don't know why Donald Trump would care about it one way or another. He was basically negotiating to buy a run-down housing project in Chicago, thinking it would make a good sister to his Mar-A-Lago resort.

What initial demands were those?

But he trusts Ryan - proven liar and backstabber? My representative, Dave Brat, says that Trump did not meet FC’s demands at any stage; he merely offered to take a little crap off the crap sandwich.

I have supported Trump from the time he announced his candidacy and still do. However, he seems to have a fatal flaw - an inability to distinguish between friend and foe. I hope that I am wrong and that this is a one time slip.

He met their initial demands and they immediately asked for more.

If true, it was a childish, irresponsible stunt and the burn will last a long time.

Do we have a record of the negotiations or some reliable source?

It doesn't appear Poe actually said the FC moved the goal posts, but perhaps worse, the FC has not yet clearly denied it.

In any event, it appears Trump is needlessly burning an important bridge.
