This is actually the exactly wrong thing to do.
Scouts at the local level aren’t buying into the bs the BSA board is pushing.
This ‘church’ is punishing young boys and young men for sins committed by men far up the chain and far away from them.
The church graciously allowed them to meet, but this church or any other are NOT obligated to bow to politically correct coercion...when it goes against their beliefs.

My Son is an Eagle Scout - I was a troop leader. Our church sponsored troop had very specific rules as to who could be a troop leader. Since the BSA rule change, the local troop changed their rules. So Yes, the local troops ares following the National BSA rules.
Trail Life. It is easy to transfer over and get out from under BSA. By remaining BSA you are supporting all this that is essentially Satanism. You have to send dues to the national organization.
It’s all one organization. You are complicit in the decisions if you support the organization even at the lowest level.
