There are more tricks up my sleeve if you need them. PM me, if you like. But don’t expect a quick reply necessarily. I’m lazy and often don’t reply for a while.
Hope this helps. It should.

I have gone back and forth on browsers over the years. Long ago deleted Chrome when I saw its lack of security in some client bank application testing, Firefox is useless without extensions and always playing catchup. I am now using Microsoft Edge and while they keep dumbing down settings, it is reliable and works. Choice between Google and Microsoft, I will pick Microsoft.

I dumped Mozilla when they forced out their CEO because of his marriage opinions.

Exactly. Everyone should do that. I have mostly used Brave since then.

Same here. I've also stopped attending events at Mozilla HQ.

What the hell is an “Equal Society”? It sounds like a modern fluffy progressive anti-concept to the concept of a “Free Society”. I guess it doesn’t mean “Equal under the law” which is all I want from a government.

I don’t want an “Equal” society. I want a FREE society. I don’t want everyone to be equal (except under the law), I want everyone to be free.

I’ve been using Brave for months. There are still a few bugs, but I use it 98% of the time.

I haven't been bothered by ads or pop-ups at all when using Brave. As far ads within youtube videos, I don't think the browser has much effect upon that. But my overall experience with Brave has been, so far, quite positive. It's not perfect, but has been improving with each update.

I also use Pale Moon -- also quite a fine browser. But I have to constantly fiddle with the ad-on settings( No Script, Ad Block, etc) to get my content to show up properly. Brave handles this this with much less user intervention. If you decide to try it, let me know what you think.

I now remember one problem I had with Brave was that I could find a way to import all my bookmarks. I tried a number of ways and nothing worked. And I had some of the problems you mentioned. Just isn’t quite ready.

It does not bother me when my web browser has idiotic political views. When an Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court has idiotic political views, it is a problem.

There is no such thing as equality. Unlimited damage can be done to chase something that does not, and can never, exist. All we can do is have equal treatment under the law. We got that back in 1954.
